Premium Cataract Lens Implants

Premium-Cataract-Lens-Implants

Basic insurance intraocular lens implants do not attempt to reduce your need for glasses or contact lenses. For an additional investment in your vision for life you may be a candidate for lenses that correct astigmatism and presbyopia thereby reducing your dependence upon corrective eyewear. With age, the lens loses its transparency, becoming cloudy and interfering with various aspects of vision. At this stage it is considered a cataract.

Trust our cataract surgeons to help you select the premium lens implant which will allow you to better read, work on the computer, and/or drive without glasses.

PKP Surgery

Corneal transplantation, or keratoplasty, corrects improperly curved corneas and is used for conditions like dry eyes, corneal ulceration, and traumatic injury. The entire cornea is replaced with a donor graft, sutured in place, with stitches typically removed after a year. Vision restoration may take this long, often requiring glasses or contact lenses afterward.
