AcrySof ReSTOR® Intraocular Lens

AcrySof ReSTOR® Intraocular Lens

The AcrySof ReSTOR® Intraocular Lens replaces the natural lens after cataract surgery. It has a patented optic design using apodization, diffraction and refraction technologies. The apodized diffractive optic design gives it the ability to focus light correctly on the retina for images at near and far distances without mechanical movement of the lens. The AcrySof ReSTOR® Intraocular Lens has been shown in a clinical study to provide good near and distance vision with increased independence from glasses.

DSEK Surgery

Descemet-stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) is the latest corneal transplantation technique, offering clear post-operative vision and a short recovery time. During the procedure, a circular mark is made on the cornea to guide the transplant size and removal area. The damaged corneal section is removed, and the donor cornea is placed and stitched onto the eye. An air bubble is then injected to center the cornea, and the pupil is dilated with eye drops.

Refractive Lens Exchange

Refractive lens exchange, or clear lens extraction, replaces the natural lens with a multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) to correct high farsightedness, high nearsightedness, or presbyopia without corneal modification like LASIK. Similar to cataract surgery, this procedure aims for refractive correction, offering rapid recovery and significant vision improvement. Patients can choose from a variety of IOLs to achieve the best possible vision for their individual needs.
